Everything remains unchanged as described in the previous syllabus.

  • Homework: Homework is assigned weekly, but will not be graded. The solution will be posted at this Blog
  • Test: There will be three tests in the second half. The problems are similar to those in the homework as usual


  • Week 7: Counting, Binaomial random variables, p-value, Test 3
  • Week 8: Bayes Thereom, Some discrete random variables (geometric, multinomial)
  • Week 9: Continuous random variables, density function, function of random variables
  • Week 10: Maximal likelyhood, more on confidence interval
  • Week 11: More on hypothesis testing
