Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Math 3215


Welcome to the stochastic world! This course is intended as an introduction to the theory and applications of probability and statistics for students in mathematics, engineering and the sciences (social science, physics,etc). Only elementary calculus and some programming skills is a prerequisite for this course. The goal is not only to understand the mathematics of probability and learn how to apply it to real world problems, but also to have fun with it.
